Position: Project Worker – Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence Hours: 32 hours a fortnight Status: Part Time - Fixed Term – 6 months Classification: HS3 - $35.51 per hour Location: Can be based out of Numurkah, Nathalia or Cobram
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Worker to take on a short fixed term role. This a key position shared between Numurkah, Nathalia and Cobram health services to roll out the Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence (SHRFV) initiative across the three sites. The project aims to increase staff awareness and knowledge, develop and share resources and build capacity across the services. The intention is to implement a whole of hospital approach for embedding the practice of identifying and responding to family violence.
To be eligible
Experience working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Previous demonstrated project management skills
Competent computer skills
Current Drivers licence
Knowledge and understanding of sensitive and complex issues affecting women’s health policy and service delivery in the Victorian context
Knowledge, understanding and active interest in family violence prevention
Experience in developing and coordinating complex projects
Experience engaging, communicating and managing relationships with a diversity of stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, in a clear, effective and engaging manner.
